Conieco zdjęć ze zlotu w Szczecinie w bodajże 2007 r. ... coś dla modelarzy i nie tylko. :) Sprzęt foto był nad wyraz kijowy, ale jakoś dał radę. :>
"A few" photos from Tall Ship Races final in Szczecin, 2007. Something for shiplovers and modellers (a lot of details). The photo stuff was somewhat creepy, but results are anyway far better that might have been expected from something that cheap :>

1) Middle-sized sailships and smaller yachts of various kind of construction. Among others "Seute Deern", "Asgard II", "Jacob Meindert", "Gallant" and characteristic dutch-built flat-bottomed yachts. One notable "non-sailing" exception was inland passenger ship of russian built, employed as a floating restaurant.
2) Polish "Fryderyk Chopin" and "Iskra II". Looking at "Chopin" I was a bit, umm.. astonished (not quite right word) that she was carrying the promo banners of Graphisoft ArchiCAD architectural program (rather niched and not-so-popular soft) - the one from using of which I wanted "to escape for few days", going to the holiday to the seaside... well, it got me even there...
Yes. Those days I was working as an architect :>
3) German "Alexander von Humboldt" - famous "Green Sailship"
4) Norwegian "Christian Radich" (behind her "Eendracht")
5) Norwegian "Sorlandet"
6) Small pause between sailing ships - apartment ship "The World".
At first this white mammoth-like ship can be mistaken with typical cruise ship, a lot of which are cruising the Caribbean or the Mediterranean routes. But trained eye spots the difference very fast - with only 6 rescue boats there can be no more than max 1000 people onboard. (one boat is calculated to take max 150 persons). This is far too small amount for a ship of this size. In fact it's a "floating apartment block" :) with apartments for rent to live onboard. Great idea - today we go to sleep in Barcelona, tomorrow we wake up in ...Marseille...? :)
7) Russian "Sedov" - greatest traditionally built sailing ship of the world. Built in 1921 in Germany, length 117,5m. When I saw her once before, years ago, in 1985, she was painted full white. Not quite sure whether original (german) black livery suits her better... if not the false "gunports" painted on the "Kruzenshtern", they might be mistaken with each other.
